The Foundation was created by Martin Scorsese and seven other eminent directors: Woody Allen, Francis Ford Coppola, Stanley Kubrick, George Lucas, Sydney Pollack, Robert Redford, and Steven Spielberg. They were joined shortly thereafter by Robert Altman and Clint Eastwood.

THE ACTORS' FUND OF AMERICA.

The Actors' Fund is for people on the stage and behind the scenes, in front of the camera and behind the lens. It's for agents and announcers, carpenters and clowns, actors and dancers, magicians and musicians, producers and free agents, stage hands and singers.

Over 14,000 people a year in film and theatre, TV and radio, music, dance and opera, and the full spectrum of other entertainment media turn to The Actors' Fund when some personal or family crisis threatens their well-being.

The Motion Picture And Television Fund has an important role in the entertainment community: It cares for you, your family, colleagues and friends. Going far beyond traditional health care, MPTF offers a continuum of care for the very young to the elderly by providing quality medical and surgical services, health care, child care, residential living and care for older adults, as well as social and charitable services.

Film Arts Foundation (Film Arts) is a non-profit leader in the media arts field, providing comprehensive training, equipment, information, consultations, and exhibition opportunities to independent filmmakers. Now in its twenty-eight year, Film Arts has more than 3,400 members working in film, video, and multimedia, and is the largest regional organization of independent producers in the country.
